FREEDOM IS THE ABILITY TO TELL THE TRUTH WITHOUT REPERCUSSION

I am an emcee. Like many who have come before me I am a truth teller. My aim is to speak to the descendants of the original man. Those who share a history and heritage with the first people to spark fire upon the earth’s surface. The first people to map the seas, chart the skies and build thriving civilizations on the African and Asian continents.

For hundreds of years, these people have been erased from history through lies, deception and colonialism. The global family that could call these people their ancestors have been made to lead lives ignorant of the divine nature of their true being. A feat accomplished by those in power through a litany of crimes that continue to go unpunished.

Let me make my message clear and state unequivocally…

THE TYRANNY OF WHITE MEN MUST END TODAY

The so called conquerors of old. The anglo saxon, the western european, the white man. He who has spent the past 500 years or more raping, pillaging, oppressing and subjugating those who he feels are beneath him. This man who’s only skill is destruction, who has created nothing on the earth but capitalism, disease, war, and the worship of money and material things. This man has no shelter from the truth which he works so hard daily to refute.

THE TRUTH THAT THE BLACK MAN IS GOD

So before you, stands a faceless figure who represents a never ending quest to fully understand a history and truth once known but erased by those who wish to keep it hidden. A man made of metal and stone, signifying the root elements needed to build a new world in a righteous fashion. A monument to a diaspora and a people more powerful than the imagination can fathom.

I WILL PAY HOMAGE

Through my art I pay homage to my contemporaries, my guides and the ones who have come before. El Hajj Malik El Shabazz (Malcolm X) and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan Muhammad, both of whom I could never repay for the knowledge they have shared and the example that they have set for me.

Also those emcees that have laid the foundation for what I aim to accomplish. Too many to name, I will simply credit the life and legacy of Zev Love X (MF Doom) with the inspiration that has become COLOSSUS. I will forever remember you and hope to seek your favor.
